July 20, Question 2

On a more global scale, meaning anything outside of this classroom, how do communities, organizations, objects, etc. bridge themselves together? For example, complete sentences and poetry bridged together to create the prose poem. Obama and Biden bridged themselves to create the current Presidential team. The spoon and the fork merged to create the spork. Poodles and Labs made the Labrodoodle. What examples can you think of? If you could bridge any two things in the world together, what would you pick? Why is this connection important to you?

  1. One example I came up with is technology, for example cell phones have become merged with more than 2 things they come with internet like computer, cameras, gps, all sorts of things. This connection is important to me because people are merged together all the time in families, relationships and ethnicities. For example I am merged of two completely different cultures I am half black and half chinese.People all around the world, especiallly in America are becoming merged everyday.

  2. What I'm thinking of is two things coming together to provide the other with what they need. People coming together from all around the world for a common purpose; a single goal. A perfect example in my opinion would be Obama and Clinton playing the trump card, so that should one of them have won the election, the other one would be on board for Vice-presidency.

  3. If I could bridge together something I would like to bridge together Art and Poetry. I've seen before in a movie, where someone reads a poem and the other one draws a picture to dipict what they believe it would look like as a visual. So maybe they should bridge art and poetry as one class. To learn to draw as well as write a decent poem. Anyone else like the creative things combined?

  5. What came to my mind with this blog, was raicism. People that were against raicsm came together to have equal rights as a human being. They achieved their goal and thanks to them, we are now all equal. How would you help an organization, community, etc come together , what or how would you make a difference for them?

  6. Organizations can bridge the gap by coming together. One way this happens is the communities compare and contrast there difference. This allows them to see each other in a diffrernt light allowing connections to start. A example of things you can bridge is shoes in t-shirts. It could be called t-shoes. How would you combine the to?
